Re: PSN downloads decreased from 5 activated PS3's to 2

Utter disgrace to loyal paying customers. Sony in a hurry to go the way of SEGA. I've got 4 machines in my house so you  cgfy now for revenue from any of them. I'll hit them with a hammer and send you the bits if you're that hard up.

Shame on you

btw pressing X starts all my games

It won't change anything for me, and supposedly most other PS3 owners. Reguarly, you only have 1 console, so you only need the access to the game on 1 PS3.

How is that website coming along; Have they found a new way to let us deactivate our consoles for buying VIDEO content? My consoles suffered from the blinking-red light of death  and now I can't give Sony any money to purchace video content. Shame as I thought they needed the money. Looks like I'll have to give it to Microsoft instead. lol

you can deactive all your devices by following these instuctions (including those with YLOD)

Note its once per 6 months

then you can reactivate the ones you actually want

Re: PSN downloads decreased from 5 activated PS3's to 2

I've stated this before but Sony's sledgehammer-to-crack-a-nut approach to game sharing is akin to car manufacturers telling purchasers of their vehicles who can and can't drive it.

I have simply stopped buying DLC until there's a rethink on this one (except free stuff) as I can't be bothered to navigate websites so I can start activating/deactivating consoles just so I don't lose something I've paid for if (when!) my latest PS3 breaks down. It's also made me cancel my purchase of a PS Vita.

At least buying a physical unit of a game means one can sell it/give it away/use it as a coaster when one has finished with it and there's not a lot Sony can do about it. As far as I'm concerned, I've paid for it, it's mine and no Sony Fanboy trying to defend the indefensible (usually with a load of badly spelt abuse) is going to change my mind on that.

I'd ask the Sony executive who was responsible for this decision to picture the following scenario; A man walks into a shop and buys a five pack of chocolate bars. Outside the shop he offers one to his brother. All of a sudden the shopkeeper storms out, snatches all the chocolate back without refunding the man his money and bans him from the shop for not eating all the chocolate himself.

Fair?

Incidentally, I've only got two PS3's, one at my main residence and one at my holiday home, so the new rules won't affect me until the inevitable hardware breakdown. I protest simply because they're manifestly wrong, the duty of all right thinking individuals.
