Re: PSN keeps timing out..*****

This is affecting PSN Users around the world.

Check this topic....

I can no longer Auto sign in and not able to use my Music Unlimited as it can not connect to the Servers.

Dragon Age 2 can not connect to the EA Servers also.

I hope some of the mods on this forum will update us.

Re: PSN keeps timing out..*****

I can usually log on except for once a couple days ago. Although I log on and play for a while and then I get a message saying I have been disconnected from PSN. The same happens when I log on again after being disconnected from PSN.

I havnt been able to auto sign in. I have to stop it and then just try it again. Also BC2 fails to connect to the servers occasionally and u have to restart the game.

http://community.us.playstation.com/message/31067705#31067705 ^^ Try this method in the link, has worked 90% for me. Definitely not a satisfactory way to login, but a decent work around nonetheless. But this crap has to be resolved soon, can't be let go for much longer.

[ Edited ]

This happens to me on the odd occasion, i get the DNS error. All i do is turn everything off (including my router) and leave it for a while, this generally fixes it. I still use the Auto Sign in option and it works 99% of the time.

Also, those that were having trouble with Dragon Age 2 and Bad Company 2, dont forget that they are EA games and EA are constantly losing their servers for some reason or other. There have been times where i cant sign in to any EA game for days :smileytongue:

Re: PSN keeps timing out..*****

My PSN is doing the same thing. It wont log in to my network and it is really frustrating. I think I tried everything like reset the router, called customer support and called the Internet provider. I have comcast by the way. Im pretty sure its the router but I have no idea how to fix it.

Is there anyone that can help? I will greatly appreciate it.

Re: PSN keeps timing out..*****

Hi Lildruski,

Are you getting any error codes?

If it's timing out, best check a few possible reasons.

1. Your WiFi connection has poor signal strength - if it's not consistent and above 75%, tweak the settings on your router, move the PS3 and the router closer together, or try Ethernet instead.

2. Make sure you have no other devices connected or downloading files / movies in the background.

3. Check with your ISP to ensure you haven't been "shaped" or "throttled" or your service isn't suffering any other issues.
