Hello

I need help for the my PS3's connection to my wireless internet. My PS3 fails to conect to Playstation Network. The failure codes i get is: 8001000A and 80710102. Can somebody help me? It is spoiling my gaming...

Now i have restarted my router and checked that its ok.

hmmm have you tried a wire connection?

Like Stevie has said, if its possible that you could try a wired connection instead of wireless and see if that works.

When you go to 'Internet connection test'  does it say 'succeeded' at the end of the test or 'failed' against IP address, internet connection etc? Might be an issue with the IP address or something?

Ellie, my PS3 says that it fails to connect to PSN ( like that screenshot, but failed on the Playstation Network connection) My other account works and succesed everything, but on my main account it fails connecting to PSN. Someone of you got a clue about whats wrong with my PS3??

That's really odd... If you have internet connection I don't understand why it won't let you on PSN. Maybe shoot one of the Mods a message or something if you don't find out on this thread?

Is media server turned on? That has been connected to 80710102 errors before.
