This is my first message on the PSForum, so I apologise if I've done anything wrong first off.

But I'm looking for answer to a question I have about the Official PlayStation Headset 7.1 surround sound (for £89.99 RRP, I think)

I live in the east midlands, whether that is relevant information I don't know. But I've kept my eye out for these fine pair of headphones for a couple of months now ... on websites and in stores. NO WHERE IS SUPPLYING THEM.

I've got an alert on the GAME website and I'm constantly looking in CEX and gamestation, along with GAME instore to see if anyone's handed a pair to trade-in, or they've restocked them or something. But I've not had any luck.

The came out last year in November and I have the money to buy them at GAME on a giftcard, which is why I wanted to get them there, but they don't have any.

Has anyone got any information as to why I can't find them??? Have they stopped production??? Where they a limited product??? Anything??? Or am I just looking in the wrong places???

All of them are US models as only US distro companies are allowed Stock.

The Reason the OP can't find them is because they are a US exclusive Product.

Even japan is not supplied with them. SCEA some how did the deal to get them produced and got SCE to agree the firmware updates for the product. 

Version 2 of the headset is due in October.

You Can only get the headset from Sites with connections to US suppliers.

Other UK sites Allow importers to sell diect on there site..play.com. amazon.co.uk These are market place sellers.

SCEE does not have to do any repairs if the brake. nore do they have replacements if you lose the dongle.  it remains a SCEA product..

With all that said it still easy to get one imported.
