Re: Playstation 4

I hadn't checked my threads for a few days & have just seen the latest replies to this one.

I found after casting a fresh eye on it's feisty, fresh & stinging beginnings (well, er, I'd liked to think they were stinging), at a serious attempt of 'satiral critique' regarding the Playstation3's fitness to be purchased; that instead, there was a horrific realisation ("The horror"... - come on, quickly, which film?) that this thread has now descended into utter chaos & complete depravity; with the kind of perverse, twisted, cynical & terribly depraved answers, some of them, that has chilled me through to the marrow in my bones quite frankly!

As such, I feel I have no choice, but as author of this thread, to say that since it has been dragged to such a low standard, I feel it's my humble duty to bring it to a sad & unnecessarily premature conclusion & I want no digusting play-on-word jokes about that last phase Mr/Mrs/Miss/Ms Sticky - do you here?! "Brick outhouse" indeed - you lightweight!

Re: Playstation 4

'Brick outhouse' - you have just ruined one the most colourful phrases in colloquial English due to your subservient adherence to PCness - it's BRICK ***** HOUSE, man. The KARZY, POO DUMPING STATION. If you want to be exotic ***** MAISON!

Anyone would think looking upto you in those 6.3 ft clouds that you might tentatively utter "I need perchance to attend the water closet, as I feel I may be in need of an evacuation!" Brick outhouse indeed!

I thought you'd stooped as low as you could stoop with daring to utter that most foulest of foods whose name I will not utter for fear of.... some poetry I feel now is appropriate:-

that was not me, that was food,

it just came up to say hello

and now it's gone back down below - bo bom"!!

So, fellow threadites, what does one do - being new to this scene, I'm not sure how I should finalise this or my other threads.

I've seen somewhere there's some solved section of threads; well I don't think anything has been solved here exactly - gratuitous exposition

Re: Playstation 4

depravity maybe - but certainly not any solutions found as far as | could see.

Maybe I need to finish this thread anyway, before The Supreme Being LordRoss: Keeper of the Sacred & most sacrosanct House Rules, who & which I've inadvertently fallen foul of a couples of times already according to his holy edicts; comes along & locks it anyway. (I'm so far in his bad books - I think he's blocked my ability to 'private message' him. I wonder if he took exception to my accusing him of being a 'school prefect' in his pubescent days, that might've been it - I'm not even sure if he got that message before he blocked me - I suppose I'll never know now and it'll remain a Playstation3 mystery!)

As far as I can see, these forums seem to be run by some sort of dictatorship with no right of appeal or fore-warning of impending penance!

I suppose if there's a conclusion it would be that from my perception, PS3 owners are RESIGNED to the fact that the PS3 browser is crap & seems destined to always be so.

Re: Playstation 4

As to the creation of a Playstation 4 & my facetious suggestion that Sony should work with the people who present Blue Peter - well, lets just say when it comes to achieving their goals - I think Blue Peter's longevity speaks for itself - indeed one answerer if you remember felt Sony, would be BANCRUPT by the end of this year.

Who knows what's going to happen, but I feel as long as they're are kids and a BBC (mind you thinking about it, in this commercial, digital internet-hybrid-tv fast approaching age, there's been much talk of their eventual demise (It might help if they properly developed the BBC Iplayer into an efficient commercial long-term archive, instead of all this seven-day rubbish that they currently & obsessively employ!)) then they'll probably be a Blue Peter or something approximating the programme for many years to come.

As for Sony, well, who can say - look at the mess Nokia are in on the technology front - it seems to me like every one of these technology corporate giants are

playing Russian Roulette, with Sony at the top of the list hoping they can get their money back on the PS3 before DVD technology has it's area marked out in the Science Museum & we're all getting our enjoyment from flashdrive technology then two minutes after that probably - nanite technology hardwired into our craniums!

"You wanted to buy what sir, a blank video tape, I'm sorry sir, I'll have to check with my supervisor, just a moment"- remember the flyfishing by A.R. Hartley advert for Yellow Pages people?!

I put it to you you gracious people and I suppose - Mr. lemon.......ahhhhh no can't say it - Sticky, that have taken the time to answer my thread & who understand probably the ways of the Playstation Forum - how does one conclude one's thread?

Have I already done it, or do I have to do something else with it, press some special button or move my damaged thread into another section - this 'solved section' how's that all work then you lovely people?!!!

Re: Playstation 4

My ID is a combination of three words Logic, Intuition and Wisdom, because I believe if one trys to use the first two, they may, at some point in the future gain some of the third.

I am new to all this threading mularkey Grasshopper, but after checking your text abbreviations on Google as I wasn't familiar with them, I can only reply using the first word of my ID with a sprinkling of the second:-

How would you know that my multi-post could have been condensed to one post, if you hadn't read it all to find out Grasshopper?

Actually, you are completly wrong in your summation - because regardless of the content of my post, I am using a CRT TV (old type telly - not HDMI) which restricts the number of characters I can type to around a thousand.

In other words Grasshopper, you rash appraisal of my thread, was just that - rash - ok Grasshopper?!!!

it would be like an end to our sordid affair and I've still more than half a jar of lemon curd with your name on it

I think I love you, logicintuwisdom

a love only before characterised by that visual masterpiece, Truly, Madly, Deeply and I know you don't want me to sob and snot all over the place like Juliet Stevenson in this clip http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ll37xdj8rpU I realise it's tears of joy but I can't find the actually snotty sobbing scene where she pours out her grief in missing her dead love.

you are my Alan Rickman and I think I am your Emma Thompson to your Anthony Hopkins in Remains of the Day you're just too scared to admit it

break free of your emotional constraints and come and live with me in a small village in Penge, I beg of you

I'd even be persuaded to try marmalade rather than lemon curd

give in to the temptation

THINK OF THE CHILDREN DAMN YOU!
