Sony have the best customer service ever they told me to leave for a few days see if still a problem, if still a problem phone back for a replacemnet (im still in warrenty) they are Really friendly

If I ring up Sony and get a replacement will I need to give them my HDD? I'd rather keep everything on it, and if you do I'd at least want to clear everything and my profile off it. My console seems to freeze on the XMB so formatting that way is out the window.

David im phoning back on the wednesday seeming its getting worse otherwise i would find out for you , just phone em up and ask.. if they say no.. you cant simple as.
