hey guys, i have a faulty sixaxis. i need to phone sony for a replacement, which of these 2 number should i phone: 01923653598 or 08705998877? what is the difference?

01923 653598 is the geographic number. 0870 numbers are non-geographic and are not normally included if you have a phone contract which gives you free minutes. If you're calling from a mobile, use 01923 653598, From a landline, it doesn't really matter which you use. A great website is SayNoTo0870. It provides geographic alternatives for loads of 0870 (an alike) numbers. I shall have to call them as my PS3 has decided to stop running Blu-Ray games (No motorstorm for me for the time-being)!

Yeah I dont get why SONY make it so difficult to call this number! They hide it so much! not on the PS3 manuals, PS3 online manuals, guidence info etc etc. Hell I had to do extensive searching on Google to finally get it.

Sony might get some stick but they are faultless with their after-sales service.

I don't agree with this they have never aswered the phone when i called them i gave up after an hour. had to get them to call me after an email and it still took them a week to get back to me.

THANKYOU SO MUCH FOR THIS my ps3 broke just a few days ago... hard drive failure and i couldn't find the number anywhere plus i was pretty scared at the time as i thought i may have just lost a 400 pound console but i saw this post tried the number and it worked, they are sending me a new console tomorrow so everything is okay (apart from my data loss) so yer thanks a lot for the post
