Hi everyone!
This is my first time ever visiting the playstation forum site so I'm new so bare with me! The question I have is odd but I'm hoping someone can shed some light on it for me. So, for those of us with the older PS3 models some of us suffered a little glitch at the end of February - not a big deal... But as we know if you didn't have your trophies synced you more than likely lost them. Due to this I lost 5 trophies in my game of Uncharted 2. Mainly just "kill X amount of enemies with this gun" and my "beat on normal" mode trophy. Since I was half way through the game on Hard I just decided that I would earn the NORMAL trophy back after beating the game on hard... well I didn't. And although I recieved 2 out of my "Kill X amount of enemies" trophies while playing through on Hard, there are still 2 I haven't gotten which I know ***** well I should of had them back by now! I guess it shouldn't matter since trophies really don't mean anything, but it just erks me. I'm replaying through the game on Normal AGAIN to try to earn this trophy but does any one know why I might not be earning these certain trophies back??
Advice please?
Thank you to anyone who reads this pretty pointless thread.
xo.

Hello
The PS3 forums are this way http://community.eu.playstation.com/t5/PlayStation
But I want to direct you to one of the posts we made around the time of these happenings:
It's a statement from the company: We are investigating yesterday's issues including users trophy data and will be able to give more information shortly.
Some people are finding though that their trophy data is returning already.

Thank you, yeah that's what I was leaning towards in doing just was hoping they would just show back up... Like I mentioned I shouldn't care about having trophies but I sadly take pride in them. hahaha, I know how lame, right?

same thing happened with my uncharted 2 trophies, kill 200 with a gau, steel fist master and steel fist expert, they vanished and cant get them back no matter how many times i do it, a bit p***ed off coz this would have been my first platinum too, i just hope they sort something out, as the thought of doing all that again isnt a good thought.

Yeah I'm at the end of the game on CRUSHING so I'm going to see if I get my "beat game on NORMAL AND EASY" again after I beat it... I hope so, I didn't when I beat it on HARD but went and deleted my "game saved data" So now that I do I hope this works, I really don't want to delete the entire file and start all over with ZERO trophies. I'm glad I'm not the only one this happend to -- all my friends thought I was crazy! I hope it gets fixed for you too my friend! [hug]

i got my trophies back from heavy rain by doing the following:
go to your profile and sync trophies (not from trophy collection). they all re-appeared for me that way.
