Please could someone help me I am in need of a new motherboard for my old style PS3. It is a CECHC03 model. Could someone please tell me were I could get 1 or if they are feeling good hearted maybe somebody could send me an old 1 they have no use of (for example if they have upgraded to a slim ps3).

I love my PS3 and am totaly lost without her, I hope you find in your heart to help me, thanks peep's.

Nobody here will be able to send you one as that sort of thing isn't allowed.

Your best bet would be to buy a new one in all honesty as it makes up the vast majority of the cost and value of the console. That or if you desperately want to buy one, you could try eBay and pick up a PS3 with a broken BluRay drive or other fault.

You will need to buy one off ebay and you will need one with a duff BD lense on it.

Replacing the BD drive hardware which is paired to the mother board will require...

Sony engineer LEVEL of skills and equipment...

and is normaly beyond domestic users skills.

Any HDD replaccement, you connect to that new working mother board will also be erased and reformatted. So you need a back up off your HDD to restore..

The power supply, fan, and other minour components can be swaped if missing.

But currently this is a lot of work when you can get a older slim model PS3 for under £150 clearence from web sites.
