Hi all i have just been on pricerunner searching for fifa 07 on PS2. whilst searching for fifa 07 i stumbled accross links to sites that are taking pre-orders for PS3s.

My advice is to wait until Sony release a definite UK price before pre-ordering as there is a chance that you could get 'ripped-off' by pre-ordering too early as the prices stated on these sites are way too high.

I worked out yesterday by converting the price of the 20GB PS3 from euros to GBP and adding 17.5% VAT that it works out at about £394 (whether or not sony sell at that price is a different matter). The 60GB version will cost about £79 more than the 20GB inclusive of VAT at 17.5%. The 60GB version will possibly sell for around £473 (if sony decide to sell at that price, of course).

most websites will only put up prices in the general region of what is expected, they will change when sony announce an official price, otherwise they will lose a lot of pre-orders,

and most EU contries have VAT higher than us. Germany's is 19% and in denmark its 25%

Littlewoods I know are catalogues and are always expensive. Lxdirect may be the same. However £500 for a 60GB and Motorstorm isn't a rip off...well, not much.
