Playstation I dont think would be able to help if its a third party game and steering wheel.

What model is the thrustmaster?
I just tried to google it for you and see if there are any related issues but there are so many different models haha.

Hi Makobeaver, It's a Thrustmaster Ferrari GT Experience. I've search but to no avail. If there were known issues perhaps Thrustmaster could have included that in their response.
Thanks for your contribution .. perhaps you can find something that I cannot.

I mean, is there a sensitivity setting in the game that may have been overlooked?

No, I did try the sensitivity setting but that just made things worse. Thanks again.

By way of update ... I have tested the game with another wheel with the same result. Blackbean games have continued to ignore my request for assistance -- stay away from their products!

Have you had any luck with your steering issue in the wrc game? I just bought it and use a logitech wheel.  Same problem. Seems like a cool game if you could steer it.  Maybe we can help one another out.

Hi Bob, thanks for that, unfortunately I've had no luck and have become very disillusioned with the game and the manufacturers/suppliers. I've now moved on to "Dirt" which works fine. I'd be grateful if you let me know if you ever find a solution. Thanks.

That IS bad news. The game seems to have so much potential.  I also have been using Dirt 2 and Dirt 3

and enjoy them very much (except the waste of time Gymkana events in 3).  I'll continue to toil with the WRC game and its shortcomings until i eventualy hit the wall as you have and will attempt to keep you posted if I come up with a solution.  Thank you for the reply and enjoy the Dirt racing.
