hi just wondering will online ps3 gaming be shut down once the ps4 arrives

Servers are already being shut down for some games.

If games remain active they won't shut them down

Shame they made the servers, DLC,Shop and User names tottaly indipendent from PSN

It is the only part to MGS4 i enjoyed but it would not accept any of my cards for the DLC the browser kept freezing befor the transation went through.

So I gave it away.

Also lot's of EA servers have gone

Eye of Judgment server have gone

One of the Motorstorm servers have gone

Resistance 1??? not sure

I think R1 is still going but Motorstorm was shut down a while ago.

Edit : Come to think of it you're right, R1 was taken offline recently.

they cant afford to keep servers running when no one is playing the games

I can't for sure but most would be from the EA side not Sony's

I am sure some one may be able to list them all.
