if im not gunna go back on it for hours or even that day, i will switch it off at the back, but if im gunna go off it for a few hours then its on standby.

i hate mine, when i press the switch at back it crackles lol.

Mine's always on standby. Probably should consider switching it off at the back but I use it everyday in one form or another so it's never off for long.
