Q and A with the BioWare Boys!!!

[ Edited ]

Hello all,

I have the great pleasure of meeting up with BioWare Co-founders (Doctors I might add!) Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuk tomorrow for a bit of a Q and A session.

For those not in the know (shame on you! ) this is the studio behind such classics as Dragon Age and Mass Effect!!

The guys will be talking about the Evolution of Bioware- how a small game studio in Edmonton grew into a full label within one of the largest entertainment companies in the world, now with seven locations worldwide.

also...

From the Emergency Room to the Board Room - How two doctors created one of the biggest video game development studios in the world.

During this time I should be able to stealthily get some questions in, so I would like you guys to suggest some for me to ask.

Just post away and I will choose the best ones to throw at the guys!

(I will then clock back in with their answers...because I'm nice like that )

Rabid

For inspiration on level design etc. Do you look to games from this generation or previous? Or likewise what films?

Have you ever put an extremely obscure medical term in one of your games, just to see if anyone is nerdy enough to point it out to you?

Do you prefer buying a chicken with or without giblets?
If with giblets, how do you use them?

It's not always about the games you know.

Re: Q and A with the BioWare Boys!!!

As a company that puts so much emphasis on the writing in their games, what do they suggest is the best way to become a writer at Bioware or other companies?

I think a few people might be interested to know that, maybe, possibly, perhaps.

Re: Q and A with the BioWare Boys!!!

Have they ever considered remaking the original Baldur's Gate games in the newer engines?
