Okay well that went ***** up, the base went floppy but dried slightly out of shape. It turned on for about 10 seconds and turned off now I don't know whether to try again or not.

 

I can still sell it on ebay as fault so maybe I should just try again.

Just had a look at the price it's going for, pretty much worthless might aswell heat the f*** out of it and see what I can get from it.I'll stick it on eBay for £20 when I'm done with it.

Best thing to do is to change your password if you're worried about info being released

Or sell it without the hard drive as many choose to upgrade it  anyway

Removing or formatting your hard drive does NOT delete your account information. The account information is stored on the Playstation 3's "EEPROM" chip.

Thanks for advice, passwords been changed multiple times anyway I never thought about that. Cheers peeps will put it on ebay tonight.
