hi,

i have a person on my friends list , at first he was ok seemed a normal gamer

but recently around 3 months

he has been spouting abuse in messages and staus about certain football team,

now although i support this team i would be disgusted with the messages and status if i didnt

its vile and disturbing

Now im an avid terrace going supporter so trust me i am not soft but even tho i hear this on the terraces in stands i would not have thought someone would get away with this type of thing on their own

how should i or sony approach this

i know i can delete him ( and i will)  but wanted him to be in a way, punished

Highlight one of his messages, press triangle and send a grief report to Sony

Do that with a couple of his messages then block him

ok, iv only recieved one message but 'online friends' have got a few

Ok, in which case report the single message in the manner I described and advise your friends to do the same

Hi all, I want to report someone, but when I highlight the message in my list and press triangle or even open the message and press triangle, the option to do so doesn't seem to be there.....

Not to sure if you are or not but you have to be doing it whilst not playing a game as for some reason the option is removed when playing a game.
