Question about the Lego games.

Ive never looked into getting any of the Lego games and i just wandered if they are actually for children or wether theirs more to the games than that, im most interested in the Lego Batman and Lego Harry Potter Years 1-4 and 5-7 (love the movies btw, if that helps when deciding if you like games based on Lego)

Any replies are appreciated

What do you mean by "for children or whether there's more to the games than that"? I'm quite sure the target market for them was mainly for children if that's what you're asking but I'm confused by the phrasing of your question.

I know they are Lego games and Lego is a childrens toy but i wandered if the developers might have made them so older people can enjoy them aswell

Re: Question about the Lego games.

lego games are awesome but you have to like what it is they are doing to enjoy it, there are a few "in jokes" that you will like if you are a fan of whatever it is.

I loved the lego starwars games and lego rockband, played a bit of lego batman but didn't get as into it because it was on my psp and I didn't really find the time for it.

If you like harry potter then I would have thought you'd like the lego games of it.

Re: Question about the Lego games.

lego games seem to pretty universal, my friends 6 year old daughter loves them, yet so does my 33 year old sister. My sister seems to prefer the collecting items part of it though.

I've never played a Lego game in my life and i was surprised to see actually how many their are, harry potter, star wars, indiana jones, batman, pirates of the caribbean, i could have missed some

I'll probably go ahead and get Lego Harry Potter Years 1-4 then if i enjoy it and finally get round to watching the Deathly Hallows Part 2 i'll get Years 5-7

Lego starwars, boring.

Lego batman, boring.

Lego Disney Pirates of the Caribbean, boring

Lego Indiana Jones series Awesome.

Yep it realy does come down to the actual content they take as the source, they are not as universal as people think.

I'm guessing it all comes down to wether you like the movie franchise the Lego game is based on because then you'll appreciate the detail in the game, i love the Harry Potter films so im assuming i'll enjoy seeing the HP universe recreated in Lego

Re: Question about the Lego games.

Each Lego harry is about £15 each at the moment brand new.

you don't want a second hand one with kids finger prints all over them.

You could try renting the first game before you spend the money...

If you have not joined lovefilm yet you could use up your free month and gamble on getting the lego potter series in the first free month...

Then cancel...
