Hi.

I'm having a replacement console delivered tomorrow as my original 60gb decided to die on me after 3 years.

Thank god I took out continious play before they stopped it.

What I was wondering is will the replacement console come boxed (like you would buy from a shop)

or just in a clear bag, and will it have leads....

They will only bring the console in a box (not original PS box, a big bulky plastic thing) which is sealed. They will break the seals infront of you and normally give them to you (they gave me them anyway). You then give them your console in a bag (I used a tesco bag) without any leads. They only want the console and they will only give you a console.  They place your broken console into the box and seal it infront of you. 

Make sure you remove any SD cards that you may have left in the machine, as this can be forgotten about sometimes.

If the seals are broken on the big box he brings to your door, refuse it...thats what CP should have told you on the phone.
