Hi can anyone give me advice on pricing my japanese 60gb ps3,bought this from Japan November 2006..it's fully working always kept under its dust cover and have all packaging even the japanese pack it came in showing date of shipping!! I've been told its quite rare? And have found the exact same models on eBay USA selling above £500....any advice will be appreciated

If the one on ebay has had any offers then by all means, go for that price. Otherwise undercut it and see if you get any offers.
Remember to deactivate your accounts and format the hard disk.

Personally after owning 5 of the UK PS3 60gbs I wouldn't pay more than £50 for one as they are in my experience all prone to YLOD's

WELL I HAVE 2 PS3'S MODEL cechh00. THE IF YOU HAVE BLACK POST IT FOR 300.00 OR BEST OFFER. IF YOU HAVE THE WHITE MODEL 450.00. THE WHITE MODEL IS JUST MORE RARE THE THE BLACK.

I have a question for those who have a Japanese PS3:
Are the functions of the X and O buttons in the XMB opposite when compared with other PS3s?
If so why is that? and is there a way to make them function like other non-japanese PS3s?

if people had any sense they wouldn't touch one with a barge pole no matter how rare it is.

i wouldn't pay no more than the usual used value of a ps3.

would love to see the face of someone who spends over £500 on a SUPER RARE ps3 and it goes and gets YLOD.

If you can; you might as well sell it.

Don't feel guilty about it, you'll be surprised how much junk people buy of ebay these days and they'll pay through the nose to get that piece of junk their longing for. So just sell it!

If you can't sell it; you could always turn it into a grill or a sandwich maker.
