Im on the $89 plan with unlimited downloads and home phone plan, dose anyone get really crappy connection with playing online gaming PS3, I have about 7Mbps for download speed and about 0.38 for the upload speed and my ping is 88ms give or take as its up and down, when I play online I always have red dot connection sooo laggy, I have done the port forwarding and the binding the mac address for the PS3 to the gateway but still red dot connection, I have also taken out the cord for the phone and turned off all wireless on laptops and mobiles and this still dose not help with the crap connection for online gaming, I have also connected the PS3 to the wireless modem via the ethernet cable and still have red dot connection, if anyone knows how to solve this please leave feedback, as vivid dose not no much about online gaming. Hey mate, your upload is quite low, I think that will be your bottleneck.

I can't find anything called Red Dot but Vivid seems to be a 4g wireless broadband service. Wireless broadband is not supported by Playstation (and it appears that PlayStation is not supported by Vivid.) It might work but it isnt supported.

Can you provide a link to your broadband provider's website?

What brand/model is your modem&/router?

What are the results (all the results) of an Internet Connection Test?

Settings > Network Settings > Internet Connection Test
