Regular. Up is up and down is down.

I've always played inverted it does just feel more natural to me.
This is actually a question I've often wondered about, I haven't counted exactly but it looks about 60/40 to the normal guys, each to their own, I just really dont feel comfortable with normal controls.

I have this personal view that the so called Inverted controls are the way it should be and that the so called Regular controls are in fact inverted.
My explanation for this is always to tilt your head back which would represent down on the controller, therefore making you look upwards. Tilting your head forwards, represented by up on the controller would in fact make you look down.
Makes sense right? So what I would like to know is... which control method do you use and why?
Regular vs Inverted, you decide!
Regular for me.
Your logic is slightly flawed though. Down on the controller represents directing your eyes down, not tilting your head back, thus down on the controller means looking down. E.g you're playing Cod and you push down on the right stick, you're directing your eyes down towards the ground.
This is actually a really interesting comparision because it brings out the way people interpret how the input on the pad links to the output in the game.
The major issue I always had with inverted v regular is when flying planes, when pushing down on the stick should equate to pulling the flightstick towards you (thus lifting the nose), I've always played with it set up like that for games such as Ace Combat or Warhawk.

Regular.
Inverted when flying aircrafts.
Simples.
