Re: Regular vs Inverted

When on consoles I use inverted all the time.  Although I've noticed in some games you can invert the x axis which I think is just weird, I mean left is right and vice versa. Dont understand that option being there. Although people must use it as why would they put it in otherwise.

PC games however where I use the mouse and keyboard I use the mouse to look up by pushing it forward. I suppose with the PC I think of the crosshairs as the cursor and use the mouse with that thought in my head. Did try inverting it once but it just didn't feel right and required a lot of concentration much like when I try to play regular controls on the console.

I also dont get how people differentiate between flight games and other types. But whatever floats their boat so to speak.

I just know that I wind my brothers up when I go round and play some split screen FPS and I invert the controls and they dont. Especially when the controller gets passed around every now and then.

Re: Regular vs Inverted

[ Edited ]

Inverted or so called aeroplane controls here.

However I'm sure when I first started playing Infamous the left & right camera controls were inverted!  That's just plain wrong!

I'm sure I changed them in the controls menu, can anyone else confirm this was the case?

Re: Regular vs Inverted

Regular for me too! :smileytongue:

I tried switching to inverted once and got confused and and totally slaughtered. Admittedly, I get confused and slaughtered with regular controls, but that just topped it. xD :smileysad:

Re: Regular vs Inverted

yer but saying you tilt your head back is just a play on words . its not differnt that saying i lift my head up,
flying only for me . and that means that the aircraft is moving . as hover mode in warhawk is set to normal for me and if i have it set to inverted then i stuggle aiming while hovering . but as soon as i click into flight mode i have to have it in inverted . its wierd how quickly things change :smileyvery-happy:

Re: Regular vs Inverted

Always been inverted from day one, I have tried regular, but as I have used inverted for so long I just can't get my head around it.

There are 3 hands on a clock, so why is the third hand called the second hand?????????

Re: Regular vs Inverted

I fins it really odd that somepeople use regular for shooting but inverted for flying, doesnt that confuse the hell out of you in games like Warhawk where you do a bit of both?

Inverted all the way for me.

Re: Regular vs Inverted

Regular for me, seems weird that down on the analogue stick would be up, and vice versa
