Remote Play

While remote racing the server will only let me race twice in any 24 hour period. While setting up the third race i get the message that I need to set my PS3 as remote server. I know that it is set up correctly as I have just completed two races. Is this done by design by the GT5 team due to the volume of players?

Re: Remote Play

Following day like you I was able to play more than twice. I have a 30 Mega Bit broad band connection so have no fears that I don't have the band width. I think that once the playstation has been left for a couple of hours in server mode. The connection to the playstation network is interrupted in some way. This then prompts the GT5 website to default to "Playstation needs to be set to server mode" default? I am however allowed to set up another race. Without some connection between the playstation and the server, I am not allowed to do this. Does anyone know where the European Playstation Network server is located? and does it communicate with other servers in Japan? if so, could the devastation in Japan be a contributing factor?

Re: Remote Play

The GT5 page was having issues with a 'Missing URL parameter' when attempting to log in. I assumed this was something to do with some server holes that now exist. Perhaps your problem is because of this.
