Complain about him there too. Sony can't stop him using that. Sony have given you the tools to ignore him over the PSN.

reporting someone is probably more about bringing a user to Sonys attention more than anything, so as long as youve done that, theyll be dealt with appropriately. theres also different levels of bannage and things dished out.

although swearing and being offensive to someone else is naughty, wrong and just a silly thing to do in general (swear at your tv, it doesnt mind. it can take it, it doesnt have feelings), it might not constitute as something as severe as a life-long, never-get-your-account-back sort of deal. if thats what you were hoping the guy was going to get. he may have done his time.

but yeah, pretty sure Sony do deal with them, like, alot. they have smart, handsome folks that do it... and the Mods do it too xP

I've had a few abusive messages over PSN. I just ignore, delete and block them. Got better things to do than get into an argument with somebody who think they're big and clever being idiots.

The one problem I do have is people running around with highly sexual/racist names. I've seen some bad ones in the past and reported them but nothing was ever done. I've checked weeks and a few months after and they're still on there.

I've just been reported on home for saying that a guy was stood over me with his chest out waiting to deliver that killer line - I'm up for sexual harrassment apparently ???

The police don't arrest you for swearing like that, they just give you a talk down and warn you. Which might be what sony did?

i got reported the other day and got a warning from sony in form of an e-mail, i dont know how many times i been reported but i know i've been pi**ed off at people on FIFA so many times i'd be lucky if only the 1 reported.

and i dont think he abused you just coz you did'nt play with him, you probaly killing your own players? or acting like a complete ***** and deserved to get as much abuse as possible and you desrve to get banned.

And if he did abuse you why you telling your friends to report him if that was the case

yh they do but depending on the coppers your swearing at or swearing around they get you on disturbing the peace.
