I am considering getting Resistance 3, I loved the first 2.  I am wondering if the multiplayer has a community that makes it still worth the purchase.  If nobody plays it anymore then I will probably just rent it for the single player.  Is it worth getting?

I have 1 and 2,but not played them yet,and was thinking of getting the third when i got round to them

1. Resistance Fall of Man 

2. Resistance 3 

3. Resistance 2 

That's my overall order of preference Fall of Man overall winner in campaign and MP. 

Resistance 3 had the better campaign than 2 and the multiplayer on 3 has improved a great deal since launch with patches and server side tweaks and balancing the MP got a lot of hate on release. 

Resistance 2 definitely the weaker of the three campaign wise multiplayer was ok but i really enjoyed the 8 player co-op multiplayer side and there is still plenty playing to this day.

Resistance 3's campaign is the best of the 3 without a doubt. The MP is decent but for some reason Insomniac have never managed to reach the heights of FOM's MP which was superb.

Definitely worth a purchase.

It's currently 5x XP on Resistance 3 april fools bonus XP event ranked up 10 levels earlier might go back on for more a bit later.

It's well worth a buy. Don't know how the MP is normally but as it's currently 5x bonus XP I have had no problem finding a match.

Would rank the games as:

1.Resistance 3
2.Resistance 1
3.Resistance 2

How long is the XP bonus lasting for? Might have to have a game tomorrow.

I am not sure i think it's running just for saturday and sunday i checked on my.resistance couldn't find any time frame.

I jumped on last night for the first time in a while and found a lot of people still playing.
Unsure how many of those were just taking advantage of the xp boost, but it was still a great deal of fun to play
