The trilogy will include all three Resistance console titles, including Resistance: Fall of Man, Resistance 2 and Resistance 3.

I don't get it... firstly, they say "after the popularity of the Jak and Daxter trilogy".... the Jak games, like Sly, Ratchet, DMC etc are PS2 games HD remastered to run on the PS3 with trophies... the Resistance games are all existing PS3 games. The only released trilogy I can think of along those lines is the Tomb Raider trilogy.. technically all 3 are current gen games as they are all available on the 360, just only Underworld is available on PS3..

And secondly, the reference to Insomniac...  they are talking of re-releasing the games in a new case... how is a studio involved in doing that?... the only thing I could think of that they could possibly do would be to put trophies in RFOM..

the rform servers was closed to... so no trophies no online games... makes it pretty much a waste for a rerelease.

I don't know where you got that information from RFOM servers are still on and the free RFOM multiplayer map packs are still on the store.
