If this is true, I won't bother getting one, especially with no backwards compatibility. Sony would lose a lot of money if they did that and would not be a very good move at all. I'm very happy with the PS3 at the moment, upgraded CPU, GPU and RAM would be nice though. I won't take this article seriously though.

I just hope that Sony wouldn't try to start cash off with Full HD remakes of PS3 games since the promise of PS3 delivering Full HD gaming in the first place didn't happen really and it would most likely give bitter taste at the mouths of the original players.
But I also wish that Sony would push splitscreen features with 4 players instead of trying to create games with crazy graphical detail because usually those games aren't fun to play.
I also wish that Sony would include video capture software. I would pay 5-10 € glady for it. No need for outer capture cards. If Sony would inlclude it for free then it could act as a really good feature for marketing.
And I don't like the idea that you couldn't borrow from or lend games to others anymore because I do it with my buddies sometimes. I have ended up buying the product afterwards usually.
Just a few thoughts.

No cell means no backwards compatibility with ps3 or psn games. Screw that. I aint buying a launch sony console in that case.
Will skip the ps4 till maybe three or 4 years after launch

About as reliable a source as IGN.
Normally, I'd agree but:
http://kotaku.com/5896996/the-next-playstation-is-
(this is the original article, couldn't see it posted in the OP so I apologise if it's already posted)
noting that:
http://orbis.scedev.net/index.php
is an actual website, combined with how Orbis Vitae means "Circle of Life", the Kotaku article has, at the very least, some support to it (although the support is that Orbis could potentially be the codename of the next Playstation, not regarding the actual specifications).
