You can get repairs even if the sticker isn't intact.

Buy a 60gig if you are happy to cough up £130 every three months for repairs.

Re: Should I get the 60gb model ps3?

or, put another way...

buy a 60Gb from a reputable high street shop, who will also sell you a 2 year warranty for an extra £30 or so.
Use the £50 you have saved to purchase whatever game you like :smileyhappy:

sit back, and relax in the warm glow of knowing that your console is covered for 2 years instead of the standard 1 year that brand new consoles get :smileyhappy:

but yes, be prepared for it to break - quite apart from anything else, it will obviously have had some use.

This is what am planning on doing tomorrow. My local GameStation have a offer on. Buy a 60gb PS3 for £199 or buy a 60gb for £210 with a brand new (selected Game) Uncharted 2 and Eyepet with camera is included in the deal. So am planning on getting the 60gb with game for £210 then pay the extra £25 and get a 2 years extended warranty. So 3 years warranty all together (including the standard 1 year warranty).
