Ummm... when Sony said they included Bravia Theatre capabilities into the PS3 Slim I thought they just meant the Bravia Theatre products, as in... Sony TVs etc.

I didn't realise until 10 minutes ago that my Panasonic HDTV Remote Control can control my PS3

Yep. HDMI-CEC is a standard. They just said it worked with Sony Bravia TVs because they don't want to be advertise competitors

It is a shame that none of the buttons on the remote can exit iPlayer lol... no problems controlling iPlayer by navigating to what I want to watch, just cannot get that Quit Game screen to come up

Yeah, that is an annoyance. You can quit out of the web interface with the remote, but not the new iPlayer app. So have to hunt around for the PS3 remote to quit off it

Ah well, beggars can't be choosers. We should be happy it atleast has some features of HDMI-CEC

To quit iPlayer,

Press 'VieraLink' button, press OK and the Quit screen comes up.
