Slim disk drive

Hey guys, I've just got rid of the 360 and bought a slim white PS3, but I'm concerned over the noise the console makes while reading disks( I think?)  Are all the consoles loud in this aspect? Apart from that it seems to work fine, it just takes you out of the game a bit, especially in cutscenes.

P.S Add me if you want, I've got Uncharted 3, Killzone 3 demo ( for now) and Olympics 2012 for multiplayer.  PSN = WaitingJohn

Yep the slims can be noisy when running disc access. It's pretty common and has been noted around here for yonks, I doubt it's anything to worry about.
