Re: So I smashed my controller...

I have not broken a controller since maybe FIFA 08  or 09, too much of a costly thing to do lol.

Re: So I smashed my controller...

I'd say try a CEX store. They sometimes have new/nearly new controllers for sale to snap up at decent prices if you're quick enough! Only cheapish place I can think of really because I've always got my controllers for £40 at GAME.

Come to think of it, I actually need to get myself a new controller. I'm afraid that my temper may have got the best of me during several moments in my God of War III Titan playthrough, and I may have 'accidentally' whacked my controller against a wall...Has some nice scratches and marks on it now, gives it character! :smileyindifferent:

Re: So I smashed my controller...

Just went through my 2nd PS3 dual shock controller playing frikken FIFA12.  Damn that game is not only addictive it's down right frustrating, sometimes you just cannot pass the ball in the direction you want it to go, winning 2-0 with about 65min on the clock, by the 80min it was 2-2, so in my RAGE!, went to throw the pad across the room at the pile of blankets that were nicely stack, however instead of hitting the intended target, my pad took a boomerang turn to the right and decided to see what the impact would be when it hit the wall, outcome pad obliteated, now to be used as spares. need to be (A) more calmer when playing FIFA or (B) sell the damn game.

Re: So I smashed my controller...

That is frustrating. Sometimes it feels like the game is fixed lol Like when you are winning 1-0 and from min 89 the opp just seem to go attack attack attack and the mins stays on the clock for longer than normal, it's like you know they opp is going to score, which they normally do.

You can get some really cheap third party controllers if you don't want to spend £40/are often breaking them.

Hmm. the hut is more known (to me at least) than that other site which has been linked, and this certainly beats Game's price. Done deal right there..... Unless.... Someone knows some special hidden website (unkown to the likes of me), that can beat the price of the hut?

We have £29.95 for a official DS3... can anyone else beat this?

BTW, thanks guys for the links.

You say the hut is known to you, and that's the cheapest, unless someone knows some special hidden website (unknown to you), which the one I linked you to was, and was cheaper than the hut, with free shipping, and it's the official DS3..

So obviously you've shopped there before, and now you tell me the DS3 is legit then i have got my answer that i was looking for....... I'm just a bit weary of shopping somehwere online that i have never even heard of before, thats all.
