if sony put an advert up during the middle of playing an online video game it would be a huge mistake

i would sell my playstation 3 and because there are enough adverts on television as it is

I agree. The first time that interrupted my gaming, I'd be down CeX with it all trading it in.

Alternatively, we could all disable the PS3's internet connection. Then the crisis is averted.

Won't happen as Sony know it would loose them gamers.

i dont get what you're trying to say, whats spotify got to do with it? yes you get ads on the free version but we pay ££'s for our games

never used spotify, wouldn't even know what it is, didn't wipeout hd introduce adverts into their game ages ago then decide to remove them.i would absolutely hate to play online and have my gameplay interrupted as that article describes and sure would not purchase a game if i knew it contained it

spotify is similar to vidzone which also has adverts, but gaming is totally different, can you imagine the enemy in view and your about to take the shot then everything slows down and a advert pops up, is it april 1st, perhaps thats whats wrong with mw3 its slowing down but the adverts failing to appear and thats what all this maintenance is for.

you get the singleplayer experience (FREE) with ads. and you pay for the multiplayer part if you want it or you dont.

Killzone3 got a (Paid)MP only part of PSN if I remember correctly.

and of course there won't be ANY ads if you buy the retail copy or the FULL copy on PSN

*Or if Sony comes with a Streaming only "Lite" PS3 with a Free(with ads) or premium PS+ account type of deal.
