Hi, I have a 40GB PS3 Original at the moment and am hoping to trade it in. If I traded it in at a store like Gamestation or CeX and bought the cheapest working PS3 slim, how much would I have to pay? And if I had a broken PS3 40GB and I did the same how much I would have to pay? 

Any help would be much appreciated.

exchanging for cash or for store credit? you'd get more for store credit but obviously depends how much they are selling the slim ps3's for.

i'd suggest looking online to see what prices they currently offer. e.g. CEX...

depends what size HDD you were wanting to get in the slim - there maybe a price reduction after E3 (if there isn't already) so might be best to hold on to see how much the slim drops.

all in all, quite hard to say how much you'd have to pay as depends on a few factors above.

I want to trade it in so I get quite a bit off the slim. On CeX there is a slim for £145, and my ps3 they would buy for £90 if you trade it in for it. I need to know though if the ones CeX sell to you for trade ins are brand new or not? Thanks

Used and CEX don't take in broken PS3's.

the best thing with pre owned from CEX is that they all come with a full one year warranty.
