While this new system will affect 2nd hand sales predominantly, it also affects first hand sales.

This is an Online Entitlement system, meaning you can't play the game online until you redeem your code.  Not so bad really except, it kills off all early releases (Game, ShopTo) and have you all forgotten that if the PSN Store is down, you can't redeem a code for a game you own (MK looking at you).

Nice system for Sony, a bit cr@p for gamers.

I'm living in America, but I understand you man. It sucks because I have made a few friends over there and they complain about the same thing. I don't know why sony would do such a thing as to limit it's fans.

Yeah, making a fake psn is against the the rules, break it at your own risk, Sony has tried to sue people for breaking them.

This is why im personally boycotting any game that uses the Network Pass idea.

... and i really, REALLY want the Ratchet and Clank Trilogy.

Oh, and I always but new (not second hand)... I just object to the concept in principal. I dont see why anyone should have to pay to use a service thats promoted on the fact is free.

54% of all countries that have the PSN store are European.

It is the continent most supported by Sony going by your definitions. 

I'd say Sony loves European PS3 games going off the statistics.

That's only down to Europe having more countries  than any other  region.

And since when is Russia Europe?

And Australia is Oceania

Part of Russia is on the European continent so it is sometimes put under 'Europe'.

I fail to see how your comment changes anything though. I used the OP's definitions of support (ie, who has the PSN store) and demonstrated how Sony support more European countries than anything else. Though If anything, it was more to point out the silly definition. 

There being more European countries to support doesn't change the statistics.

It does not change the stats but it is a unfair comparesen if your put it that way as their are more in countries in Europe compared to any other region and more languagers to support So you can't realy compare them.

It is a silly definition It was pointles me pointing it out to the OP as it is over a year ago and he would never see it.

Russia never knew that I guess it's just me as I concentrate on the UK more than Europe and when i was at school Russia was Russia lol

As mentioned anyone who used to browse the preowned section in Game oe Gamestation(....remember those) and had the misfortune to pick up an EA title will know how much of a pain getting online could be in some cases.
