I'd be up for that, always find myself wanting to write something that won't fit, then trying to think of ways to shorten it down.

Re: Sony should allow us to have longer status messages

I've seen how annoying it can be trying to fit a decent sized status into that small box, so I agree 100%.
I don't want to die. I don't want to die. I don't want to die. I don't want to die. I don't want to die.

Yes, yes I do have 6 trophies. :smileyhappy:

Agreed. I never come up with clever and funny comments that would fit in the comment box.

It's fine as it is.

I enjoy the challenge of fitting something witty, amusing or otherwise into such a small limit.

I agree with PFC on this its fine as it is,

if you give people to the chance to use 250 characters some would end up with some telling their life story......

I only use simply messages eg;

'back later',

'remote play'

'downloadling',

thats all people need to know

'SIMPLES'

Re: Sony should allow us to have longer status messages

yeah it would be great if you could have a a few more characters for your stats.

as i have found more than a few times that i have hit the limit.

the other week i was going to go for something like:

"i want a white psp go but it cost to much"

and had to go for:

"psp go=to much "

Re: Sony should allow us to have longer status messages

No no no,it will turn into facebook which is just the constant whittering of dull people, telling you things you neither need, nor want to know. I agree there should be a liittle more space to write in but not more than a decent sentence, two at a push

i dont see how you can compare the 2.

on facebook peoples status are kinda imposed on you and it's kinda the point like twitter . on the PS3 you don't have to read the comment, you can just scroll past and not read it..same with fb actually. lol

but i do agree that it the limit shouldn't be as large as twitter and facebook... but don't see the harm in adding few more characters.
