Sound Problems

I'm using my HDMI cable on a new TV, and for some reason, I'm getting sound at the XMB just fine, but when I start up games, it all goes mute. This is making no sense to me... Anyone got any fixes?

Check the sound settings on the xmb. you might have it set to 5.1 or something....

theres some hdmi handshake issue with some PS3 titles and Tvs.. try booting the ps3 and cut the power to the tv not standby but no power at all on it this will reset the hole deal and work again :smileyhappy:
