Just thought I'd add another plus that this game has. Multiple profile splitscreen. This is a feature that should be in all games.

Is the single player worthwhile ?

been considering picking this up but Max Payne will likely

take abit of my time over the next few weeks

single player is not bad.. MP and co-op are awesome!

Aye, don't get it for SP. Think of it like Mass Effect 3 - the coop in ME3's solid, and not bad, but you'd never get the game for it. Starhawk is the other way around - MP and co-op are where it's at, but the SP ain't too bad either (for action, don't expect much in the way of story) .

I think the Single Player is more of a set of training steps - so you learn how to fly hawks, learn infantry tactics, learn building strategies etc - so when you go online you won't just be cannon fodder.

I don't have the game myself yet, but I've been watching some good 'Lets Play' vids on Youtube.

If you liked warhawk you'll LOVE starhawk. it's 88 from EB games too which is a decent price

I actually quite enjoyed the single player.  I found the multiplayer campaign quite challenging though, the one where you have waves of enemies coming at you while you try to defend your generator.  The funny thing was it was a lot easier when you did multiplayer campaign on your own (yes it is possible to do that lol), but the moment someone else joins in, the enemies seem to really up the ante.  

I tried it online, and I don't know if I just played against guys that were good or what but I most definately was cannon fodder.  Im not bad at warhawk but dam did I get owned bad on Starhawk.  Maybe the guys I played had been playing the beta for a couple months, or maybe I was just bad.  

I think Its the kind of game I would enjoy having private games with mates, but if my online public experience is anything to go by I think I'll pass on the leaderboards and stats recording lol, too hard out for me.
