TV Help

Right, I'm in dire need of help, pretty much tried everything, and I'm at my wits end.

I've got a Philips 40PFL7605h, and a PS3 Slim, it's worked on this TV before, but due to moving, my mom had this TV, and I was using a Samsung, but I had it back, but for some reason, it's just not working on this TV anymore, I've tried all the HDMI slots, I've reinsalled the TV, I've done the reset on the PS3 (holding the power button for so many seconds until it does the second beep), but still nothing coming up on the screen, it just says 'No video signal', the only thing I haven't tried is the original cable, because I don't have it on me at this time.

For people who say it could be the PS3 or the HDMI cable, it's not, I've tried it on the Samsung and it worked on that, I really don't understand what's happened, my mom was using the HDMI on it, so I know for a fact that it worked, so for the PS3 not to work, is extremely baffling.

Hopefully I've given enough info for some people to try and help.

Thanks.

Re: TV Help

What do you mean reinstalled the TV?

Setup the components detected by the TV?

Do you already did this?

1. See if PS3 is using the wright conexion (HDMI or CVBS)

2. Did you check if PS3 is setup with wright resolution? For that TV

3. If that dont´work try to use RGB cables to see if the TV detects the signal

If this didn´t work the manual refer to unplugged the TV and PS3 from the electrical network, after you can switch on the TV and PS3, but when switch on the PS3 has to be on the default video standard.

Note: Try to config the PS3 to video standards on the TV where PS3 works.

I hope it help.

Cheers

Basically a factory reset, so if anything was done wrong, it went to default.

Yeah I did all that, this morning I tried a different HDMI lead, and it's working on that, but the same HDMI that didn't work on my TV, works on a different TV, think my TV's picky about which HDMI leads it wants to work with.

Thanks anyway for your help, is appreciated.

Anyway, it's fixed, this can be closed now.
