Re: Thanks to Sony

Had some issues with one particular agent on phone but out of the 5 advisors they really helped and then made a issue sorted, my new console arrives in an hour, and I'm going to sign up to ps plus so if it happens again my saves are in the cloud :smileyhappy:

Re: Thanks to Sony

Good luck with that Dude! In the last 15 months i have had 7 or 8 replacement units from sony, some have only lasted 1 month but the latest was 3 months.Just got a brand new unit from them as i have had so many problems. So fingers crossed this one lasts the course.

I must give them credit for being so helpful though, just seems that i have been very unlucky with refurb units.

Actually I think that's with the PS3's... in general. lol PS1 and PS2 lasted years, the PS3 fats have only managed a few months, before replacements are needed, but the PS3 Slim units are proving to be a little more reliable.

Re: Thanks to Sony

I don't know why people buy refurbs. For a little bit more money, you can get a brand new Slim. They don't look as nice, but they're more reliable. :smileytongue:

It's what I'll do when my 60gb eventually dies.

How do you know if you don't have it? :smileytongue:

On the subject of "Is your fat PS3 still running?", my 60gb is almost 4 years old and still going. This is my 2nd PS3, though. First one died after about 10 months.
