Final Fantasy XIV has been shown in 3d.

Any idea if the PS3 release will support 3d from release?

There's been lots of talk about how good the 3D is in De Blob 2. Good news is, it's on sale now for $15usd in the US PSN store, so go get it before the sale ends. 6gb in total.

does anyone know if 3D pc monitors are any good for console gaming, as i'm thinking of getting a 23'' acer 3D monitor for my new pc and i'm thinking of hooking my PS3 up to it when i get round to buying it.

i have to say 3D gaming is cool and funny at times but i would still rather play without it tbh for a start i don't want a new TV an whats the point game graphics get better every day 3D is not needed to improve further an last of all playing in 3D gives me a terrible headache i wouldn't want to have an epileptic fit just for 3D.

There are plenty of warnings for people who may suffer from adverse effects from viewing in 3D, if you don't want a new TV... so be it.

Had my TV for a couple of weeks now and found 3D settings I never knew existed (I RTFM lol) which means no ghosting or crosstalk, to say 3D isn't needed because graphics get better every day, I've read what you said, but have you actually played a game in 3D? It's the depth that's added to a game, this currently can't made with just improvements in graphics, even in the movies Avatar and Tin Tin has great graphics, but throw in 3D and it's a whole new ball game.

Anyway I don't want to dwell of things, just be happy with your own personal choice.

On a side note, just played through Uncharted 3 in 3D, that game incredible especially chapter 8 - abducted, where you're looking up and enemies are shooting down at you, when you hit them they drop and fall down towards the screen. I also liked the bullet trails and the sniper laser sights, if the lasers blinded you as in BF3, that would've been the icing on top.

Also managed to play Child of Eden and House of the dead overkill with proper 3D settings, both are awesome with no crosstalk, just waiting for the European Wipeout HD blu ray 3D patch (2.40) which is out in the USofA.

Offtopic: the move controls on Child of Eden are horriffic for me, constantly needs calibrating I now use the DS3 instead, sure it works fine if I stand up, but I have a recliner which I paid good money for, and the recliner doesn't have a stand up setting....

it never dawned to me to play child of eden with the DS3 ...the move does suck on that game. the secondary fire uses the trigger and the main fire uses a sideways swipe motion....not fun to play with ..and thats ignoring the horrible callibration that doesnt work. never finsihed the game because of it ...might have to try it later with the DS3 and 3d

I have a samsund ps43D series TV and MY GOD! uncharted 3 needs to be played in 3D! only cost me £450 with glasses on 12 months interest free finance! best investment made in a while, MS Apocalypse too is awesome, although not all games are, i can't concentrate on jak 1 in 3D for some reason, not sure about the other 2 games yet.

It has it's good games & bad games.
