Ooh, I'll have to check that out. Played a lil bit of this before being sidetracked by Warhammer and Darksiders; the 3d element may just swing me back to this though.

Hi all, just thought I'd post to announce that yesterday I joined this elite club 
Got myself a nice 51" active 3D Plasma from Samsung PS51E550
Good to read that Motorstorm Apocalypse is one of the best 3D games because as a PS+ subscriber I got that for free last month (YAY!)
I tried Ratchet & Clank Trilogy HD yesterday but it didn't blow me away in 3D, I suppose that's because it's not much more than simply upscaled graphics and textures with 3D tacked on
Thanks to 3D I was able to clear the Uncharted 3 section which I'd been stuck on for ages: Chapter 14 which is the assault in the ship's Theatre/Ballroom. SO much easier to see the bad guys and what distance they were from me to gauge who to attack in what order
Yeah foofan the PS2 era games rarely get much from 3D apart from GOW Volume 2 which is pretty stunning in 3D.
There's loads of depth, some really intelligent uses of convergence points (often you'll see the game world slowly drag out into the distance before your eyes) and the fixed camera really gave the developer a chance to generally play around with the format.
Give Give C.O.E.a try to, the game is a brain melter in 3D Oh, and welcome to our much maligned club

If I'm honest, I'm pretty bored of the 3d thing now.
When I first got my 3d tv I must say I thought it was amazing. I really enjoyed gaming in 3d and some of the documentaries on Sky 3d where truly impressive. Nowadays though, I very rarely use the 3d function at all (apart from the occational movie that my daughter fancies watching - Shrek, Smurfs, etc).
Am I the only one feeling like this?
I've definitely cooled off on the 3D gaming front because so few games really benefit from it but as for films I watch more than ever simply because there are a lot more 3DBR's out there now.
I know what you mean though, my GF was all about the 3D when I bought the set but now she kinda moans if I want to watch a film in 3D.
