Yes it's very impressive in 3D.
Essentially the idea is to highlight the targets (a full deck of 8 is best) and then kinda whack them in rythm with the music.

I've had a LG 42LW450U for a couple of months now and the 3d is superb.
I have a slight issue though. Since I've had it on some Sky channels and when I go onto BBCi (press the red button on BBC 1), theres a thin strip at the top of the screen with like white and black dashes.
Anyone else with this t.v. have the same issue or is it a fault?
Cheers

I've worked in broadcasting for some time and it sounds like you're seeing time, date and closed caption metadata.
If the zoom/smart picture functions don't remedy it there's no need to worry, it's quite a common occurence and doesn't indicate any fault.

3d just doesnt intrest me personally, give me the best resolution and i'll stay happy.
i havent actually seen any games in 3d yet tho, did see shrek in 3d on a tv in comet and was impressed with how well it worked but still not for me.
That's what I used to think until I saw a Panasonic TX-P42ST30B for £503, got a pair of universal 3D glasses separately for £30 which works great, now all I'm waiting is for my basic cable channel subscribtion to expire, because a smart tv will cover that and more, thus saving money.........3D is a bonus, esp 2D--->3D

Just now playing House of the Dead Overkill Extended cut, the 3D isn't as clean as say Killzone 3, but it's definitely more immersive, like looking into a 3D box, and if you have PS Move it's an added bonus.
Not forgetting Tumble is good also.
