I've been on a real kick of HD remakes lately, God of War, Prince of Persia, Tomb Raider Trilogy etc, not to mention GoW Vol. 2 later this month followed by ICO/SOTC and Silent Hill. Yes I had them on PS2, but now they're better than ever; 1080p HD graphics, 7.1 surround sound, 3D support, trophy support etc
I'd really love to see some more of these, especially with the bigger, better franchises. With MGS bundling Peace Walker with the PS2 games, companies should start following suit with bringing PSP games to the PS3 and/or Vita.

In Japan on DIsc I beleive it is RE Revival selection.
But as it is PSN download in Europe and US only they arn't.

Problem is, that the HD remakes vary in quality. I am all for these games. There are some i missed, some that deserve to be played by all people.
GOW HD trilogy was aces. really superb work.
Prince of Persia/Splinter cell was *****e. (I.E rubbish, great games, but poorly converted)
Yet to play Sly, but looks great.
Got ICO/SOTC on pre-order. And looking at the Eurogamer Comparrison footage, looks like they have done an amazing job,
Looking forward to MGS Hd collection and the redone Abe games., and hope they do a FFX/X-2/12 pack.
Also a dark cloud remake would be most welcome. And any J-RPG going thinking about it

Sony have really gone to town on their exclusive games. Reading the Digital Foundry article on Splinter Cell sealed me never buying them regardless of a look inversion patch. Its so cheap and a basic PC port its an insult to gamers IMO.
The God of War Collection Vol 2 has nearly been rebuild using the ported PSP to PS3 engine.
"We ended up going through every single character in the game and doubling or tripling polygon count by hand, as well as up-rezing and re-painting every texture across both games at 4x resolution on both characters and environments,"
"It was pretty demoralising for us to play the game in beautiful HD and hit a cinematic trigger where Kratos looked like he was rendered through a dirty sock, so we realised we would just have to bite the bullet and properly re-render all cinematics in full 1080p."
Both are good reads if you get the time or haven't already.
