I was never a Commodore fan, but even so, Rob Hubbard was a genius. I'll never forget the first time 3 channel music was produced on the Speccy, in the game 'Fairlight'. And I won't go in to how cool we all thought digitised speech was when we heard it for the first time ! At the time it was a technological breakthrough lol.

Haha I had a specy too.  First the 48k with the crap rubber keys and then I graduated to the 128k with a tape player attached....it's funny how I could get in from school, set my game loading, have my tea, then go upstairs and it still hadn't loaded.....yet these days I get frustrated with 'slow' loading times on a game.  How things have changed!!!  Does anyone know anything about when Bionic Commando is out?  Used to love that game and can't wait to get my hands on the remake.

LOL That would be fantastic - just imagine these games - remade - HD grpahics - original scores remastered and remixed and what about Manic Miner - they could have the original elements and loads of new ideas implemented within them. It would be pretty awesome.
