Going by what Jaffe said in one of his latest youtube ramblings the demo or 'beta' is a pretty recent build compiled last week (i think).

Im pretty sure its ok to lable it as a beta anyway because Sony will be doin server load tests and tweaks during this period before the full game gets released.

 

Anyway, Twisted Metal 2 was my favorite, had crazy fun on that thing. Very fond memories trying to beat co-op on hard mode with my bro (we did in the end a few times although iirc Holland was *****)
