Not sure if this is right place but downloaded the new patch (1.05)other day and since then been unable to login.

It stays on connecting to servers and won't do anything else.   I've left it for about 20mins or so and it doesn't time out or anything.

Please help

Try rebooting your router first and see if that fixes the problem, if not, delete the patch and redownload.

I'm having the exact same problem. I've done both of those things to try and fix it, with no success. For some reason when I reinstalled the update it asked me for my online pass again, which wasn't a problem (I just used my original code). When it gets to the "Logging in to the Twisted Metal Online servers..." screen it just keeps going and going. Couldn't get it to work this time last night (11:30pm here Australia), couldn't get it to work now. Which really sucks because I was more than half way through legitimately earning All Sales are Final.

It doesn't seem that many other people are having this problem otherwise I think I would have read a little bit more about it by now. Just wondering if the topic starter has had any luck at all.. ?

I hate missing out on the action

How do you delete the patch? 

Never had to do it before so no idea. 

I'm not sure it's router problem cos problem only happened after this patch.

Go into "Game DATA" I think, defo not save data and then delete the Twisted metal file.

Having the same trouble, it hangs on log in to server.  Tried to restart my router nothing, deleted all the patched and redownloaded nothing.  I just got the game and now I can't even access the game itself due to whatever is causing this.  None of my other games have this trouble so the fault lies with either the patch or the server itself.  Need a fix on this soon or owning the game is piontless.

Same problem here. I think it's the whole of Europe!! Everyone contact Sony and they might do something about it!

Server access was absolutely borked on TM when it was released, they then addressed said borkage with a patch!

Did Jaffe and co just re-bork it?  I hope not, was going to play it tomorrow.

You don't know the half of it. The Americans and selected patsies such as me who imported it got to take part in the unofficial TM "beta" that began on February 14th alongside it's US launch. During this period the online was almost completely non-functional. I'm fairly sure that even when it released a month or so later in Europe it was still far from satisfactory.

Definitely the worst launch and handling of a game I've ever seen.

I am continuosly hearing that from alot of people, and reluctantly I'm starting to agree. Which is a real shame because I absolutely adore the game, I really do.

The problem almost definitely lies with the patch, as I've not had issues with the online at all until now. I live in Australia, and have yet to encounter another Australian with the same problem.

I hope Jaffe is reading this.. I JUST WANT TO PLAY TM WHY WON'T YOU LET ME!
