I've played on my PS3 and used my Xbox 360 to chat to people on other games at the same time. I know its not possible for people who don't own a 360, but its a makeshift fix if you do own both a PS3 and 360.

Sony did mess up a bit with the RAM on the PS3, but theres not much they can do about it now, unless they allow exapansion via USB or something.

Sony might intergrate something else to put on PS3 which is similar to Xbox 360 chat but not the same as it due to copyright issues. But all this talk about it, won't make it come any faster; so drop the subject as you can get it via Xbox. So let PS3 do its thing whilst Xbox do their thing and  please! stop the moaning.

Maybe Sony could give us voice messaging, that would be quite cool.

Re: UM SONY!. isnt there really something u cud do? (CROSS GAME CHAT)

Couldn't care less about X-Game chat tbh but why is it almost impossible to background download stuff from the store whilst playing games these days? 2 hours into Deus Ex and I get a message from my friend saying the PES2012 demo is out, I go to download it, fire Deus Ex back up and... Pending! :smileysad:

What's the excuse for that one, eh Sony? Deus Ex has NO online functionality whatsoever and even signing out of PSN (which sometimes allows the download to resume) still leaves it in 'pending' state, ridiculous if you ask me!

It does the exact same thing on the 360 as well. In fact on the 360, I was downloading a few game trailers and went to watch one while the others were downloading and because it now launches 'Zune' to watch videos, it paused the downloads!! At least that doesn't happen on the PS3.

If you click on game library, then on the list on the right hand panel at the bottom it will say game videos, click that and you can watch all videos on your 360 without launching Zune and stopping your downloads.
