Yeah I'll probably be getting DIRT. Demo was okay but could have done with having another race to get the feel of the game.

Roll on after this spring/summer games drought when there's something worth buying at launch.. So far I've had 2 new games this year, and they was only disappointments (SSX & Mass Effect 3)

All three for me: games, TV and films have all dried up. It won't be long before I'll be dying of boredom.

But why does every good thing come out in Autumn?

We're just at the start of the summer 'blockbuster' season cinema wise, not that it's everyone's cup of tea. If you mean blu-ray though, then it's slap bang in the middle of the 'early year cinema drought' season!

Games wise, it's at least looking a little busier than other years for the drought period, not that anything particularly interest me at the moment. Possibly some bargains to pick up in the middle of summer though when we'll be wondering if all publishers take the entire summer off work.

Probably a good time for Starhawk to release though, slap bang in the middle of the usual yearly big MP releases, so likely to interest players bored of their last MP game and not wanting to wait until the next release.
