It's exactly what I state, he bought something which isn't compatible; UK DLC on a US game... doesn't match.

I did. Still compatibility issues... end off, using US stuff on UK things is not gonna work and visa, versa. If you like to give the op tips, be my guest, but my theory is my theory and I'm sticking to it.

Not quite how you said it first though, you said something much different to what he had asked.

You said,

" you must use regional PSN Cards i.e. UK ones for a UK store, as the US ones can only be used in conjunction with US accounts."

He bought a US card and must have used it on the US for it to download correctly, his question was "why wont it run after it has downloaded?"

Some of the stuff I come out with is rather constructive, if you've bothered to look. Just cos' you don't agree doesn't make me wrong. But the op using a US PSN Card on a UK store, must be a glitch.

Re: US DLC problems..

hey hey

warren appears to be the only one who has this correct.  Everyone else has made odd assumptions.

@OP

The Game : Imported  Disc ?

If you have the imported disc (us version) then it should play fine on your UK ps3.

The DLC :

Did you sign up to the US store with a US account or did someone else buy the download on their account and "shared" the game with you ?  If you used the lesser of the two evils then the account used to purchase and download the DLC must be active on your ps3.

Under usual circumstances the DLC will be applied across all users and accounts on the same ps3.  However you may have a conflict because of the already stated region lock for DLC.

Try again,

Account who purchased the DLC active but play with the uk account - RESULT ?

Account who purchased the DLC active, play with this account - RESULT ?

Play offline - RESULT ?
