So i just ordered a US PS3 as i had $280 in amazon giftcards, WIll there be a promlem with it working in a UK plug or anything ? oh and i know about the games and blu rays

No, the PS3 Slim is equipped to work on UK voltage. Should be as simple as plugging into adaptor to fit UK plug or use a UK power cable.

How did you get around the Amazon NOT shipping Sony US HARDWARE to UK rule.

Did you use a Third party amazon market seller.

I remember a friend gave me a HP desktop he bought over from the stateslike an idiot i plugged it straight in without flicking the little red voltage switch on the power supply over to 240,kerboom
